Wet and Messy Fetishism

I just discovered a term last week:

Wet and Messy Fetishism

I was basically doing an internet search on my own fetishes, and lo and behold, I found a label that resonates. Not that I need a label, but diagnoses always bring some kind of validation and relief.

This type of fetishism also extends to people who enjoy food play… but I am not one of those folks. If you are into food play, good on you, no judging from me, but I don’t fit under that umbrella… yet (I can feel Hubs cringing already).

But I definitely discovered in the last several months that I am into paint play. As some of you know, if you have been following my adventures since the beginning, that I discovered this side of myself through much-needed creative pursuits, namely my weird brand of abstract painting… which isn’t so weird or original as plenty of artists use their bodies as paint brushes, such as Polish artist Anka Lesniak.

I enjoy her work as not only an artist (in-the-making) but as a fetishist.

I can’t say whether or not she gets sensual or sexual release from this type of art, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she did.

This is definitely something I need to do this summer….

Long live fetishism and weird art!!!

  1. I do find the WAM fetish fascinating, whether food or paint, it does have a curious appeal. The paint side of it does lend itself perfectly to art, your own works illustrate that beautifully

  2. Have you seen the film “Better than Chocolate”? There is a gorgeous erotic scene between the two lesbian main characters involving painting each other’s bodies. If you haven’t already seen it, you should chase it down. It’s a fabulous film, and I think that scene would be right up your street!
