Weird Poetry

I can’t keep up with the flow

I’m tapping words into devices

I’m scribbling pen to paper

I’m scrawling feverish fingers across steamy knowing mirrors

And the glass pane in my shower

I can’t keep up with the flooding

Can’t mop up the spilling

So many forgotten along the way

Slipping between cracks

Falling like meteors you just missed in the season of the Perseides

But don’t fret

Here comes another

And another

And anotherandanotherandanotherandanother

I will try to catch them and constellate them into the stars in my eyes so you can read my poem in my gaze the next time you see me.
