I know you’re taking silent strolls
Between the letters and the words and phrases
Of my poems.
I know you’re walking my words
Like a tight rope between two buildings tall enough to cuddle the clouds.
I don’t know who you are,
But I can see the breadcrumbs you leave,
And think I don’t notice.
I know that you leave them
Here and there
So you don’t lose your way out.
But birds like breadcrumbs,
And they will gobble up all of your hopes
Of ever getting out alive;
Use orange markers instead.

Yes yes, I read your poems and I like them and I also look at my statistics 🤪
